HOW CAN I BECOME A VOLUNTEER PEER FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR (FI)?

Our Flight Instructors (FI) must not have a managerial position in order to apply as a Volunteer Colleague. Another important condition is that they know and are willing to do the job voluntarily. Our teachers who want to apply must apply by e-mail with a short note explaining why they want this position. Following their application, they will be provided with the necessary information regarding both selection and training.

HOW CAN I BECOME A VOLUNTEER PILOT CANDIDATE/STUDENT?

In order to apply as a Volunteer Colleague, our Pilot Candidates/Students must have completed their theoretical knowledge training and advanced in flight training. Another important condition is that they know and are willing to do the job voluntarily. Students who want to apply must apply by e-mail with a short note explaining why they want this job. Following their application, necessary information will be provided regarding both selection and training.

VOLUNTEER PEER SELECTION AND TRAINING PROCESS

In order to make the right choice in the selection stages of Volunteer Colleagues, relevant measurement tools and individual interviews are conducted. After the selection stage, the training process begins. During this process, our candidates are given basic psychology, communication, role playing, and procedural training on the subject. During this training process, it is aimed for our peer support volunteers to be knowledgeable and equipped in the competencies required for the task they will carry out.
